Christopher Catron

Chris was born and raised in Smyth County, Virginia, Chris is an experienced healthcare leader dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and evidence-based environments for individuals recovering from substance use disorders.

As the Administrator at Wildwood Recovery Center, Chris oversees daily operations, clinical compliance, and strategic planning, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of inpatient care. With more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health administration, he specializes in facility management, regulatory compliance, organizational development, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Chris is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and fostering a culture built on empathy, dignity, accountability, and clinical excellence. He believes individuals and families affected by substance use disorders deserve compassionate, high-quality care in an environment where they feel respected and supported.

Prior to joining Wildwood Recovery Center, Chris held several leadership positions with Recovery Solutions. During his tenure, he successfully oversaw the startup and development of a 160-bed inpatient substance use disorder facility. Under his leadership, the facility achieved Joint Commission accreditation and obtained all required state certifications.

Chris holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University and a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Southern New Hampshire University. His professional experience, commitment to behavioral healthcare, and passion for serving others continue to guide his leadership and vision for improving outcomes for individuals and communities affected by addiction.
